Faithfuls from three churches in Ndia, Kirinyaga county, are still in shock after the churches were broken into and properties worth over a million shillings were stolen.
The churches, a Catholic, an Anglican and a fountain of life, were broken into by intruders who made away with musical instruments and also drank the holy sacrament. Harrison Muriithi, the St Joseph church vice chairman, said money that had been contributed to the church has also gone missing. He added that the criminals gained access to the church by breaking the windows, and the church leaders are now calling for security agencies to intensify patrols in the area.
