Six family members killed in Mandera ambush en route to Quran competition

Six members of a family were killed in a gun attack in Mandera on Saturday afternoon. According to Mandera County Police Commander Robinson Ndiwa, the six were passengers aboard a hired Public Service Vehicle that was ambushed near the Omar Jillow trading centre while they were on their way to Arabia on the Kenya-Somalia border, for a quran recitation competition.
