Stakeholders push for PAYE review during Finance Bill 2026 public hearings

The National Assembly Finance and Planning Committee has embarked on public participation to gather feedback on the 2026 Finance Bill proposals. The committee kicked off engagements with organised groups and umbrella bodies, largely from the private sector. Stakeholders raised concerns over several proposals in the bill, particularly the current Pay As You Earn income tax bands, and called for a review.
