The state department for correctional services has kicked off the third edition of the correctional service week in Nairobi. The celebrations themed efficient service delivery for the common good,marks three years of reforms being undertaken to enhance justice, rehabilitation, and public safety. Speaking during the event, cabinet secretary for defence, soipan tuya, commended efforts towards digital transformation and social rehabilitation, pledging continued government support for prison officers’ wellbeing.
