State House had requested 20 billion shillings to fund its operations across the state lodges in the country for the financial year 2026/2027. Appearing before the National Assembly Departmental Committee on Administration and Internal Security, State House Comptroller Katoo Ole Metito stated that the treasury allocated 13 billion shillings, resulting in a shortfall of 7 billion shillings. In the last financial year, the state house was allocated 17 billion shillings.
