    Kenya has made progress in the fight against hiv/aids, with 98 per cent of people living with hiv said to be aware of their status and are on treatment and 94%, achieving viral suppression.

    However, despite this milestone, advanced hiv disease remains a major hurdle, particularly among people newly diagnosed, those resuming care after treatment interruption and those experiencing treatment failure.
