Some youths in Kakamega demand payment to register as voters

Kakamega County Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Elections Manager Joseph Ayatta has called for enhanced civic education among young people to boost their participation in the electoral process. Ayatta expressed concern that a significant number of youths in the county demanded payment before registering as voters during the recently concluded enhanced continuous voter registration exercise.
