Healthcare services in Nairobi county remain paralyzed as the healthcare workers’ strike entered its 29th day, disrupting service delivery across public health facilities. The Kenya union of clinical officers (KUCO) says the prolonged industrial action has taken a heavy toll on all sectors of the county’s healthcare system, with patients continuing to bear the brunt of stalled negotiations. The union blames the Nairobi county government for failing to address their demands, warning that the crisis will persist unless an urgent resolution is reached.
