Youth in the Intergovernmental Authority on Development - IGAD member countries will now have a bigger say in discussions around conflict and climate change following the adoption of the Declaration on the IGAD Youth Policy Framework. The declaration seeks to among other things design youth-centered development programs alleviating the adverse disruptions and impacts caused by conflict, climate change, and displacement on the youth in the region.
