The government has been urged to urgently develop a clear and comprehensive policy framework, to incorporate children with disability in the Social Health Authority scheme. Led by the Action foundation's Chief Executive Officer Maria Omare,the Stakeholders in the children welfare sector have decried the high cost of accessing medication and assistive tech-devices,that have left many families and caregivers silently struggling to get the much-needed medical and rehabilitative services.
