Kenya Defence Forces completes 10,000-seater Wajir stadium ahead of Madaraka Day

JEFF: It has taken just over 100 days to put up a 10,000-seater capacity stadium in Wajir, in what is becoming a spectacle for residents who never imagined they’d host a national celebration this soon. OLIVE: The piece of infrastructure has brought with it connected upgrades, including a water-purifying system and enhanced electrical capacity. JEFF: Sam Gituku took a tour around the Wajir stadium, the first of more than 20 that the Kenya Defence Forces is expected to implement across the country.
