Labour CS says Kalonzo has failed the Ukambani region

Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua has called on Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to quit politics, accusing him of failing to deliver development to the Ukambani region. Speaking in Malindi during a funds drive alongside Kilifi Governor Gedion Mungaro, Mutua said the region has lagged behind due to its long-standing stance in the opposition. He urged the united opposition to abandon divisive politics and support President William Ruto in implementing his development agenda ahead of 2027. Mungaro, on his part said ODM's victory in the Magarini by-election was a sign of things to come in 2027
