MPs agree to finalise various legal frameworks in the coffee sector

Members of parliament will expedite proposed bills and other frameworks meant to facilitate coffee sub-sector reforms. MPs and senators have agreed to work together to finalise various legal frameworks, agreed on in consultations with the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who asked them to prioritise the farmer. The deputy president held a meeting with the MPs who are drawn from various house committees and other legislators from coffee growing areas, for a way forward on the reforms.
