NTSA defends shift to electronic logbooks amid reforms

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) says the ongoing transition to electronic logbooks is not only aimed at improving efficiency in vehicle registration services but also at strengthening road safety operations. NTSA now says staff affected by the digitisation process will be redeployed to enforcement and compliance duties as part of broader institutional reforms.
