Over 3000 form four learners in Day Schools in Kipkelion East Constituency have benefitted from 5 million shillings worth of scholarships courtesy of the National Government Constituency Development Fund.
During the cheque handover at the NG-CDF offices in Londiani, area Member of Parliament Joseph Cherorot a who initiated the programme last year, reiterated that the bursaries help the students concentrate on the national examinations. Kipkelion East Kenya Secondary School Heads Association Chairman, Benard Ngetich, who is also the Principal of Chagaik Secondary School, said the funding will go a long way in facilitating the education of students from vulnerable families.
