Rachel Ruto leads Joyful Women 16th anniversary

First lady Rachel Ruto has led the Joyful Women organization, Joywo, in celebrating their 16th anniversary, held at the Kasarani sports stadium here in Nairobi. The Joyful Women organization, which empowers women through table banking, has grown to a national outfit with over 250,000 members countrywide. President William Ruto, who was the chief guest urged urged Kenyan women to leverage the government’s affirmative action initiatives to empower themselves economically.
