Small-scale traders in Githurai operating along the Thika superhighway have opposed a move to evict them to give room for the expansion of the highway. A meeting that was called to discuss the matter failed to reach a consensus after the business people accused the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) of being insensitive and enforcing unpopular rules without consultation.
