Sirisia member of parliament John Waluke will begin to serve a jail term of 67 years if he fails to pay a fine of about one billion imposed by the court. This is after the high court this morning declined to quash his conviction delivered by the magistrate court in June 2020. The legislator was charged alongside his co-business partner Grace Wakhungu were found guilty of defrauding the national cereals and producing a board of 297 million in 2013.
