EACC is pursuing grabbed public land in Nakuru county estimated at a market value of kshs 7 billion this is through active civil cases in court, as part of its ongoing recovery of public assets. EACC has in the latest case recovered 5 acres of land which include 20 prime government house units estimated at kshs 345 million. The recovery was through a civil suit by EACC against 3 individuals namely Saleh Chepkole, Titus Kipkemboi, former commissioner of lands Wilson Gachanja, and two private entities namely Pembeni Limited and Liberty Assurance Company Limited. Both companies are linked to a former member of parliament for Aldai constituency Jim Choge Mumbi Wambugu with the details.
