In a proactive move towards transforming Thika into a smart city, a group of motivated youths from the Kenya Youth Organization has taken on the ambitious task of greening estates within the industrious town.
Their determined efforts aim to leave no stone unturned in the pursuit of making Thika town more environmentally friendly.
The initiative is expected to contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions, promoting healthier livelihoods for the residents.
After successfully planting over 400 Thika palm indigenous trees, the youths, joined by stakeholders said they are committed to the ongoing environmental conservation efforts for a better climate.
