Chief Kadhi Sheikh Abdulhalim Athman Hussein has been laid to rest at the Seif Halwa cemetery in Kikowani, Mombasa County, by Islamic rites. The chief kadhi died Wednesday night at his home in Tudor. President William Ruto led the country in mourning Chief Kadhi, describing him as the custodian of the Islamic Sharia. Chief Justice Martha Koome also eulogized the Chief Kadhi as a dedicated man who committed his life to the service of justice.
