Football Kenya Federation Vice President McDonald Mariga and 8 National Executive Committee Members have lifted the Lid on a 43 Million Insurance Scandal and how the money meant for CHAN 2024 Insurance agreement was paid to a non-registered Insurance Brokerage Firm, Riskwell Insurance, that was not licensed in the country and not listed under The Insurance Regulatory Authority. The Company was also incorporated by the Registrar of Companies 40 days to the start of the Africa Nations Championship, CHAN tournament that was co-hosted by Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya. According to the nine FKF NEC members, the insurance company is said to have exposed players to lack of cover during the period of the tournament.
