Nine Utumishi Girls students held over dormitory fire probe

Tonight we begin the bulletin with the Utumishi Girls Academy fire probe… Nine students suspected of orchestrating the deadly dormitory fire will spend another night in police custody ahead of a court ruling on Wednesday that will determine whether they are released on bond or remain detained for 30 days. The suspects, all aged between 15 and 16, appeared before the Naivasha Law Court but were not charged. The prosecution instead applied for their detention for 30 days to allow for the completion of murder and arson investigations.
