Ruto faces Suluhu pushback over Tanga refinery pitch in Tanzania parliament

President William Ruto says the Ksh2.5 trillion joint oil refinery project set to be built in Tanga, Tanzania, will not only reduce the cost of fuel in the region but also create thousands of jobs for residents of the East African Community. Speaking during his historic address to Tanzania's parliament, President Ruto rallied the MPs to support him as he called for more cooperation between the two countries.
