Private security companies have being directed to submit a guarantee committing to implement the 30,000 shilling minimum wage for private security guards. In a letter dated January 29, 2024, the Private Security Regulatory Authority Chief Executive Officer and Director General, Fazul Mohamed, said that all private security companies have up to seven days to sign and submit a legal commitment or risk having their licenses withdrawn.
