RELIEF FOR GARISSA MARKET TRADERS AS CS DUALE DONATES IRON SHEETS AND WHEELBARROWS TO FIRE VICTIMS

Traders at the Garissa market open-air market, commonly known as Suq-Muqdi, who lost their wares in a fire tragedy that razed down the market three weeks ago, have received a donation courtesy of Health CS Aden Duale. The donation that included 1,000 iron sheets and 170 wheelbarrows valued at over shs 1.6 million will go to 550 traders, the majority of them women who eke a living by selling groceries on wheelbarrows and makeshift stands.
