Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi’s is pleading with the 11 member committee to save him from lynching saying all allegations against him in relation to the fake fertilizer scandal have not been substantiated. Linturi who made his closing remarks on the last day of his impeachment hearing said it was unfortunate that the session had been turned into prosecuting his personal life which had nothing to do with the alleged fake fertilizer. The Agriculture CS now has a date with destiny on Monday when the committee tables it report during a special sitting of parliament.
